Graphic Design & Digital Illustration

Logos, poster art, ski graphics, & typography.

Logo designs

All logo designs conceived using pen and paper and later rendered using Illustrator and Photoshop

Concert posters

Typically my illustrations begin with a pencil on paper and are later fleshed out in Illustrator and Photoshop. I most often use a Wacom tablet for drawing and coloring

Mushroom illustration drawn on an iPad using the ProCreate app with a Sensū stylus

Another freelance gig from my friend Tina who had originally contracted the work and ended up not having the time to accomodate the project, and was kind enough to hand it off to me. It was my first (and only) label design for a nutritional supplement.

Custom one-off ski graphics (top-sheet illustrations) for sponsored pros at Fortitude Skis©

Just like with my posters, my ski graphics also began as sketches on paper and were later rendered in Illustrator and Photoshop, letting my Wacom tablet do most of the heavy lifting

Most of my ski graphics are a result of the athlete's vision and my interpretation of it, and refining the idea until the aesthetic they have in mind is captured.

Skis are an extension of the skier, but the style and personality of the athlete—of any skier, truly—is captured in the top-sheet. I'll always appreciate the creative freedom the Fortitude crew lent me—an aspiring web designer and illustrator with zero effing experience who was still a student—on a daily basis.

Typography exercises

Drawn using a Wacom tablet and a mouse in Illustrator and Photoshop

My work history hasn't offered me many opportunities to design original typography but being eager to, the last four are a few exercises I've done in my personal time, just trying to stay fresh at it.
